You made me love you

These photographs were taken the Saturday before last, shortly after I found a 1940s dress in my favorite color at a garage sale. It was one dollar! I also bought the matching shoes (brown leather pumps) for another dollar because I'm a sap. They're way too small for me of course, even though the dress fits like a glove. I read up a little bit on my dress' designer, Dorothy O'Hara. She designed for the stars and started her line in the 1940s. I think it ended in the 60s.
As I've said before, there are few benefits to living in the suburbs that almost make up for the fact that it is boring here. Very boring.

Dress: 1940s, Fashion Forecast by Dorothy O'Hara
Sunglasses: 1960s, belong to my aunt
Shoes: Sofft, thrifted
